I think the people leaving negative reviews must be competition or something because this is the best seafood place and best drink place. I've been to by far now if you like margaritas Michelada's the freshest seafood in the freshest ingredients you've ever had you're gonna love this place sit at the bar or wherever you like and I guarantee you you're gonna be blown away because the only thing better than the ingredients the food and the drinks here is the service. The service is excellent some of the best service I've had anywhere. Please excuse all the run-on sentences here I'm just using voice to text.
Good ceviche, decent mezcal selection. Service was fast and easy. They had futbol on and was generally a peaceful place.
Tiki Hubby and I wanted to try someplace new on lower Greenville and The Original Seafood Bar got our attention with the cute patios looking like a Tiki bar ! What an experience service was amazing. Monserrat our waitress helped us through the menu. She explained items with a beautiful smile and service. We went with the Grilled Camarones large butter flied shrimp in a garlicky red sauce and grilled to perfection. What a delicious messy dish. I am already craving more. Loud music playing and decor took us back to Oceanside in Mexico. Chips and salsa was so good.
Get the shrimp tacos - they are easily the best I have ever had. Their salsa is also amazing. Highly recommend
We stopped here on a lark and will be adding this to our regular restaurant rotation. I had enchiladas Rojas with chicken. Oh kids! Delicious. My husband the mahi mahi tacos that were to die for. Highly recommend!!
This resturant was the best. I live in FL where we get fresh seafood daily and have never had the experience or food that I had at Palapas. The Mahi and guacamole were amazing seasoned to perfection and served with an excellent fresh fruit and cheese salad. The owner came out to greet us and have conversation. I wanted a guacamole to go and he made sure it was in an airtight container so the Avocado wouldn't turn brown.
This is a great hole in the wall. There was no wait to be seated and the food came out extremely fast. The salsa to start was delicious and the fish was fresh.
Although this restaurant is located in the Lower Greenville area of Dallas, you'll feel as if you're back in Mexico after walking into this restaurant! For drinks, highly recommend the mangonada for its perfect blend of mango and chamoy, or the pina colada, as our waitress highly recommend how well its prepped here (blended in with ice cream) For food you really can't go wrong with anything here but the tacos de camarón we're my personal favorite. The shrimp were juicy to the point they melt in your mouth, and the sauce and MX coleslaw just continued to elevate this dish. 10/10 can't wait to come back!
